Progress on Clarence Interim Planning Scheme 2015

Clarence City Council has considered representations on the Clarence Interim Planning Scheme 2015 following public exhibition.

A total of 128 representations were received raising a wide range of issues from minor errors and anomalies, operational issues and scheme mechanics through to requested rezonings.

Council will now forward a report on the representations received and its recommendations to the Tasmanian Planning Commission for its consideration.

Council has been participating with the State Government and 11 other southern councils since late 2008 to develop a coordinated, consistent and contemporary planning scheme.
