Clarence City Council Mayor, Councillor Brendan Blomeley, has welcomed the Liberal Party’s election commitments within the City, announced on Sunday.

“Council has proactively engaged with all Franklin candidates, sending a copy of the City of Clarence Prospectus 2023-24 and City of Clarence community based election projects – March 2024, to every candidate in the Franklin electorate, to help them better understand the needs of our growing community,” Mayor Blomeley said.

“Since the election was called, I have met with a range of candidates from across the political spectrum and will continue to do so throughout the campaign.

“Engagement with all candidates has been positive and I am pleased the Liberal Party has now announced support for a range of projects in our city, totalling more than a million dollars.

“Clarence City Council will continue to engage with the other political parties and Franklin candidates to ensure the best interests of our Eastern Shore community are well served,” Mayor Blomeley said.
