Public Open Space Policy

The following policy is intended to provide a clear rationale for decisions, based on clear objectives and principles regarding the provision of well-designed and located POS in new subdivisions and to provide a consistent approach to requiring cash in lieu of POS and the utilisation of these funds. There may however, be unique circumstances that may give rise to variation or departure from the policy and this is at the discretion of and by formal determination of the Council.
