Community Volunteer ServiceThe Clarence Community Volunteer Service provides a coordinated volunteer service to the frail aged and younger disabled residents of the Clarence community, including people with mental illness.

Office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 3.00pm.

Service provided

Volunteering can be as fulfilling to the volunteer, as it is to the person who receives the services.

How to assist

Volunteering for 1 or 2 hours, once a week, once a fortnight or even just once a month can benefit a member of the community who, through illness disability or frailty cannot carry out day to day tasks.

Commitment to training

Training in all aspects of volunteering will be offered by professional trainers. Appropriate training will also be available for volunteers who are assisting people with special needs.
