Please be advised that works will soon begin on an upgrade to the speed hump and pedestrian crossing at the entrance to Bellerive Primary School on Leslie Street.
Work is scheduled to take place over the school holidays, beginning Monday 5 July and are expected to be complete before the start of the school term on 19 July.
The works will include construction of a raised pedestrian crossing (or “wombat” crossing), renewal of the footpath from the external car park, minor stormwater works, new signs and line marking.
During these works, disruption to nearby residents and the school will be kept to the minimum so far as possible. Access to footpaths and properties will be maintained.
Motorists and residents are asked to please observe signage and speed limits.
