Please be advised that council’s contractor will be carrying out road re-surfacing works in various streets across Clarence over the next few weeks as part of our road maintenance program.
A notification with specific dates and times will be sent to the affected properties approximately 48 hours before re-surfacing works will commence.
Contractor’s representative will also be conducting door knocking to advise of the works on the day of resurfacing.
To assist us in completing these works and minimising any inconvenience to residents, we would appreciate that vehicles are not parked on the street or nature strip on the day of the resurfacing from 7am until the works are completed. If you are planning to head out during this period, vehicles should be moved prior or contact us to have alternative arrangement.
Some streets may be restricted for vehicular access during the resurfacing works depending on the available alternative access. Vehicular access to your driveway will also be restricted for a short period of time (from 60 to 90 minutes approximately) while works are being undertaken.
Work not carried out due to unforeseen circumstances including rain, strong winds or excessive heat will be rescheduled and further notification will be provided prior to works.
We ask all traffic and pedestrians to please obey signage around the worksites.
