Find below the changes to council operations between 22 December - 2 January
Council Chambers
- The Clarence City Council chambers will close at 1.00pm on Friday, 22 December.
- Payments to cashiers will be accepted until 12.00 noon on Friday, 22 December.
- Chambers will reopen at 8.30am on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
- No Justices of the Peace (JP) will be available from Thursday, 21 December, to Monday, 15 January.
Waste Collection
- For residents whose waste collection falls on Monday 25 December (Christmas Day), your bins will be collected early on Saturday 23 December.
- There is no change to any other kerbside collection days.
- As always, please ensure that bins are placed out for collection no later than 6.00am on any collection day.
- If you need to report any missed collection, damaged or missing bins, please call Cleanaway on 1800 329 084.
After Hours
- For all after-hours inquiries, including roads and stormwater, please call the after-hours number on (03) 6217 9700.
- For emergencies, call 000.
Mornington Park Waste Transfer Station Hours
- Christmas Eve- closes at 4.00pm.
- Christmas Day – Closed.
- Boxing Day – Open from 8.30 – 4.00pm.
- New Years Day – Open from 8.30 – 4.00pm.
