Clarence City Council has teamed up with Garage Sale Trail to bring this unique event to our community. Garage Sale Trail is truly Australia’s festival of pre-loved stuff, where over 3 million pre-loved items will go up for sale over two big weekends of garage sales in November.
By joining forces with the Garage Sale Trail, we aim to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever before, delivering on our commitment to promote sustainability, reduce waste, and foster community connections by encouraging individuals to rethink waste and host a sale or shop the trail.
How Does It Work

Impact and Sustainability
Since its inception, the Garage Sale Trail has diverted over 10 million items from landfills, saved countless resources, and helped communities raise funds for various causes. It’s a testament to the positive impact individuals and communities can have when they come together to make a change. For these reasons, it was a no-brainer for us to partner as we transition away from former practices that hasn’t championed sustainability.
