We all have a story to tell. Learn some introductory skills on how to tell yours, or capture other great stories in your community. These stories may be about a person, an object, a service – the possibilities are endless.

Join award winning short story/documentary film maker Lara van Raay, Chief Story Catcher at Small World Documentaries.

Lara will guide you through the beginnings of the story catching process, and show you how to bring your story to life in digital form. You will learn the basics of using free editing software to continue your learning journey.

Please note this is an introductory course, suitable for beginners to storytelling. As you will be using a laptop or your own device to edit your films, a basic level of digital skills is required.

Bookings required due to limited spaces. Please note your booking confirms that you will attend both sessions.

This is a free program proudly brought to you by Libraries Tasmania.
