As part of the scintillating annual festival, an exciting exhibition will be shown at Rosny Farm, opening on Tuesday 4 June 2019.

Only the Penitent Shall Pass, by Melbourne-based artist Andrew Hustwaite, will turn Rosny Barn into an interactive playground of geometric sculptures.

“Clarence City Council is delighted to be partnering with Dark Mofo again in 2019, and welcoming back one of Australia’s premier art festivals to Clarence,” Mayor of Clarence, Alderman Doug Chipman said.

“Dark Mofo is a festival that has brought so many benefits to Tasmania, and the events they support are always popular, challenging, and exciting to explore. I’m sure that this year’s event will bring more of what we know and love about this fabulous mid-winter event.”

Local Tasmanian artist Amanda Davies will also be opening her new body of work Crushing, exploring the intense relationships we can form with paintings, alongside the Dark Mofo Exhibition.

Only the Penitent Shall Pass opens at 6pm on Tuesday 2 June at Rosny with music, fire and food and drinks available for purchase.
