Council Offices
The Council Offices will close at 5.15pm on Thursday 18 April 2019. Payments to cashiers will be accepted until 5.00pm. The offices will re-open at normal hours on Wednesday 24 April and be closed on ANZAC Day 25 April 2019 reopening on Friday 26 April 2019.
Mornington Depot
The Mornington Depot will close at 4.30pm on Thursday 18 April 2019 and will re-open at 7.30am on Wednesday 24 April 2019. The Depot will be closed on ANZAC Day 25 April 2019 and reopen on Friday 26 April 2019.
After Hours Services
For all emergency services after hours including roads and stormwater, please ring 03 6217 9700.
Dog and Animal Control
For urgent matters outside normal office hours please ring the after hours number 03 6217 9700.
Garbage Collection
Normal collection of garbage, recyclables and greenwaste will take place over the Easter period, including Good Friday.
Collections will commence in all areas from 6.00am so residents are reminded that bins must be placed on the roadside before 6.00am.
Mornington Waste Transfer Station
The Mornington Waste Transfer Station will be closed on Good Friday 19 April 2019. The Second Chance Re-Use Shop will be closed on Good Friday 19 April 2019 and ANZAC Day 25 April 2019. The Waste Transfer Station will be open from 8.30am until 4.00pm on the following days:
- Saturday 20 April 2019
- Sunday 21 April 2019
- Monday 22 April 2019
- Thursday 25 April 2019
Other days will be as per normal operating hours (7.30am to 5.00pm weekdays, 8.30am to 4.00pm weekends and public holidays).
Rosny Child Care Centre
The centre will close at 5.30pm on Thursday 18 April 2019 and re-open at 7.30am on Wednesday 24 April 2019. The centre will be closed on ANZAC Day 25 April 2019 and reopen on Friday 26 April 2019.
Children’s Services – Alma Street (Family Day Care, Outside School Hours Care and Holiday Care)
The Children’s Services office will close at 5.00pm on Thursday 18 April 2019 and will re‑open at normal time on Wednesday 24 April 2019. The office will be closed on ANZAC Day 25 April 2019 and reopen on Friday 26 April 2019.
The holiday program will operate at Lindisfarne Primary School on Tuesday 23 April, Wednesday 24 April and Friday 26 April 2019 and will be closed on ANZAC Day Thursday 25 April 2019.
Clarence Community Volunteer Service
The Volunteer Service will close at 2.30pm on Thursday 18 April 2019 and will reopen at 9.00am on Wednesday 24 April 2019. The Service will be closed on ANZAC Day 25 April 2019 and reopen on Friday 26 April 2019.
Schoolhouse Gallery and Rosny Farm
The complex will be closed over the Easter period 19-23 April 2019 inclusive and will resume normal operating hours on Wednesday 24 April 2019, which are Wednesday to Sunday 11.00am to 5.00pm. The complex will be closed on ANZAC Day, 25 April 2019.
Youth Services
The Youth Services office will close at 5.00pm on Thursday 18 April 2019 and will reopen on Wednesday 24 April at 9.00am 2019. The office will be closed on ANZAC Day 25 April and reopen on Friday 26 April 2019.
