Kerbside Collection
Your kerbside collection bins will be collected as per your usual collection times during the Christmas and New Year period.
Please ensure that bins are placed out for collection no later than 6.00am on collection day.
Mornington Waste Transfer Station
The Mornington Waste Transfer Station will close at 4.00pm on Saturday 24 December and will be closed on Christmas Day. The Station will be open from 8.30am until 4.00pm on the following days:
- Monday,26 December 2022
- Tuesday, 27 December 2022; and
- Monday, 2 January 2023.
Other days will be as per normal operating hours (7.30am to 5.00pm weekdays; 8.30am to 4.00pm weekends.)
Mornington Depot
The Mornington Depot will close at 12.00pm on Thursday, 22 December and will be closed until 3 January 2023.

Clarence Aquatic Centre
The opening hours for the centre over the Christmas period are as follows:
Saturday 24 December: 10am-3pm
Sunday 25 December CLOSED
Monday 26 December: 10am-3pm

Rosny Early Learning
Rosny Early Learning will be closed from 1.00pm Friday, 23 December, and reopen at 7.30am on Wednesday 4 January 2023.
Children’s Services – Alma Street (Family Day Care, Outside School Hours Care and Holiday Care)
The Children’s Service office will close at 1.00pm on Friday, 23 December and reopen at 9.00am on Tuesday, 3 January 2023. The holiday program will operate at Lindisfarne and Montagu Bay primary schools from 8.00am to 6.00pm weekdays from Tuesday, 3 January 2023 through to Friday, 27 January 2023 (closed Australia Day public holiday – 26 January 2023).
Clarence Community Volunteer Service
The Volunteer Service will be closed from Monday, 19 December and service to clients will resume on Monday, 16 January 2023.
Schoolhouse Gallery and Rosny Farm
The Schoolhouse Gallery and Rosny Farm will be closed from Friday, 23 December. The office will reopen on Monday, 9 January 2023. The site will reopen to the public on Wednesday 11 January 2023 and resume normal opening hours which are Wednesday to Sunday 11.00am to 5.00pm.
Youth Services
The Youth Centre will close at 1.00pm on Friday, 23 December and reopen to the public on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.
