Pursuant to Section 25(1) of the Local Government (Highways) Act 1982, notice is given that for the purpose of conducting major stormwater infrastructure upgrades the following roads will be affected:
- Clarence Street, Bellerive will be subject to a temporary lane closure causing possible delays between Derwent Street and Beach Street from Monday, 15 January 2024 to Friday, 29 March 2024;
- Beach Street, Bellerive will be closed to through traffic between Church Street and Luttrell Avenue from Monday, 8 January 2024 to Friday, 29 March 2024; and
- Douglas Street, Bellerive will be closed to through traffic between Derwent Street and Beach Street from Monday, 8 January 2024 to Friday, 29 March 2024.
- Night works on Tuesday 16 January from 6pm-7am Wednesday 17 January 2024. The works will also require use of BlackCap’s compound at 64 Alexandra Esplanade during this time. During these hours you can expect increased levels of noise.
Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and seeks the co-operation of motorists and pedestrians in exercising caution and observing signs when in the area.
