With ongoing strong winds across Clarence this week, residents are advised to take extra care when putting bins out for collection.
Update on Friday 10 October
- Ongoing weather conditions are continuing to impact bin collections
- General Waste: All general waste collections are continuing today, including Acton Park. Cremorne’s general waste has been completed; however, the access was impacted to the beach area this morning (Friday 10 Oct).
- Recycling: One truck is currently dedicated to recycling collections with aim to complete all recycling collections Friday 10 Oct. Any remaining areas will be collected tomorrow (Sat 11 Oct).
- Green Waste: Howrah West collections are continuing and will be complete this afternoon. Green waste collections scheduled for today in Opossum Bay and South Arm will be completed tomorrow (Sat 11 Oct).
Tips for a safe and smooth collection:
- Don’t put your bins out too early
- Keep lids closed
- Place bins in a sheltered spot if possible
Waste collection:
- General waste and recycling – collected on your usual day
- Green waste – leave your bins out an extra day if not collected
- Any missed collections not completed by Friday will be completed on Saturday
