Council is exploring the option to extend the kerbside Green Waste collection service to Penenjou Road and are seeking your feedback.

Currently, Penenjou Road households receive General Waste and Recycling collection, but Green Waste collection has not been offered due to previous exemptions for larger properties (over 2000m²). These exemptions no longer apply under the updated Waste and Resource Recovery Services Policy (2024), which covers both existing and new collection routes.

If extended, each residential home on Penenjou Road would receive a 240-litre Green Waste bin. There would be no upfront cost for this service, any associated costs will be applied to your next rates bill.

For the service to proceed, at least 67% of households must support the extension. If this threshold is met, the service will be extended to all households on Pennejou Road.
