Clarence City Council’s Dog Management policy is under review.
Over the last few months council has created a DRAFT policy after meeting with various organisations such as the Dogs Homes of Tasmania, RSPCA, Birds Tasmania, RSL Tasmania, the Tasmanian Equestrian Centre, and the Parks and Wildlife Service to name a few.
This is where you come in! From Monday 15 March we will be running a consultation on the draft policy and we want to hear from you. Your feedback will then be used to inform council before they can begin the statutory process of updating the policy, which will involve further broad community consultation.
Please note council has not made any decisions yet. The only decision made by council so far is to add an extra step of public consultation prior to the statutory review process.
