Hope Beach

Hope Beach is 5km long and faces south east into Storm Bay exposing it to all southerly swells.

Waves average 1 to 1.5m and maintain a moderately steep beach. Rips are known in the area.

Betsey Island is located 1.2km offshore, directly in front of the eastern end of the beach.

Hope Beach can be accessed via Roaring Beach Road at the western end or Goats Bluff car park at the eastern end.

This beach is managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service.
