Parking: Clifton Beach Conservation Area about 1.5kms along Bicheno Street from Clifton Beach Road. turn right from unsealed Bicheno Street onto the gravel road to the carpark

Start the walk at the boom gate near the carpark. Follow the gravel road to a commemorative plaque at its end, where two narrow tracks begin. Turn left to the lookout for a great view west along Clifton Beach, south to Bruny Island and across the dunes to Pipe Clay Lagoon. Then head back and take the other track, which leads down to the beach. Walk along the
beach for about 300 metres, then turn right onto the track through the sand dunes to the carpark.
