From Monday 17 August 2026, the speed limit on Direction Drive and Sollamer Place in Otago will be reduced.
Electronic roadside message boards have been installed to alert motorists to the upcoming change. New speed limit signs will be installed on Monday 17 August, when the new speed limit comes into effect.
The speed limit reduction has been approved to improve safety for all road users.
