At the Council Meeting on 29 June 2026, Council:

  • refused an application to extend the planning permit for a 1 Lot Subdivision at 1 Monique Street, Howrah for a further two-year period.
  • approved a planning application for additions and alterations (single dwelling) at 7 Willoughby Court, Clarendon Vale
  • rezoned 22 Goodwins Road, Clarendon Vale and adjacent Goodwins Road reservation to General Residential, Inner Residential and Open Space
  • adopted the Richmond Village Master Plan 2026
  • noted the Initial Assessment Report on the Kangaroo Bay Hotel Major Project Proposal and endorsed the Council’s response to the consultation
  • nominated Councillor Chong as a candidate for election as a Committee Member of the General Management Committee for the Southern Electoral District
  • adopted the Bushfire Hazard Management Areas on Council Land Policy 2026
  • committed to review information relating to a traffic and pedestrian changes to the intersection of Shoreline Drive and Clarence Street at an upcoming councillor workshop.
