At the Special Planning Authority Meeting, Council:
- Approved the planning application at 438 & 450 South Arm Road & 2a Ringwood Road, Lauderdale for supermarket and retail shops, carparking, access and landscaping (general retail and hire) and 1 lot subdivision.
At the Council Meeting on 11 May 2026, Council:
- Approved a planning application made for two Multiple Dwellings (one existing and one new) and associated driveway works at 186A Derwent Avenue, Lindisfarne.
- Approved an alternative motion for a planning application made for retrospective approval of an outbuilding, additions and alterations (Single Dwelling) at 39 Poplar Road, Risdon Vale.
- Approved a Planning Scheme Amendment of the Local Provisions Schedule
amendment and combined subdivision application at 471 Cambridge Road, Mornington and 528 and 540 Pass Road, Cambridge. - Refused a request to end the Part 5 agreement C240569 made under section 71 of the Land Use Planning And Approvals Act 1993, which applies the Wisteria Development Plan, Cremorne.
- Noted a petition for an intergenerational recreation facilities space in Richmond.
- Approved a request for the provision of Council consent in accordance with the covenant under Sealed Plan SP134052.
- Approved the General Grants Assessment Panel’s recommendations of the allocation for the February round of Community Grants and Cultural and Creative Grants.
- Did not support an amended motion on notice regarding hazardous chemical use, child safety and the Open Space Strategy.
- Supported an amended motion on notice regarding the sale of Fort Direction, South Arm.
