A controlled burn will occur along the Seven Mile Beach Spit at 300 Pittwater Road, as part of works to clear a radiata pine plantation forest for the development of the golf course.

Burning will occur on Tuesday, 12 May between 11pm and 6am as part of a series of burns during autumn, winter and spring 2026.

The burns will only proceed under favourable weather conditions, including wind speeds below 15 km/h.

Due to these conditions, smoke is expected to rise and reduce likelihood of impacts to residents however if smoke does impact you, please contact the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) to report the matter.

These burns are not being conducted by the City of Clarence and are regulated by the Forest Practices Authority Tasmania.
