As we wrap up another big year, we want to wish our community a safe, relaxed and joy-filled festive season. Over the Christmas and New Year period, some of our facilities and services will be operating on adjusted hours. Please check the details below for the area you need.
- Council offices will close at 12pm on Wednesday 24 December 2025 and reopen on Monday 5 January 2026.
- Depot services will close at 12pm Tuesday, 23 December 2025 and reopen on 2 January 2026.
- Waste services: collections will continue as normal across the Christmas and New Year period, with the following exceptions:
- Christmas Day (Thursday 25 December) → collected Friday 26 December
- Boxing Day (Friday 26 December) → collected Saturday 27 December
All other public holiday collections will run as normal.
- Rosny Farm will close 20 December and reopen on Monday 5 January.

- Clarence Children’s Services:
- Alma Street After School Care closes 1pm on Wednesday 24 December 2025 and reopen at 8am on Monday 5 January 2026.
- Rosny Early Learning: closes Friday 19 December 2025 and reopen at 8am on Monday 5 January 2026.
- Clarence Aquatic Centre will be closed from 12pm Wednesday, 24 December 2025 and reopen on Monday 5 January 2026.
