As a condition of the Planning Permit for Bellerive Oval (Ninja Stadium), a Transport Plan operates for major events held at the venue. A Transport Plan Committee oversees the implementation and effectiveness of this plan.
The Committee includes representatives from:
- City of Clarence
- Cricket Tasmania
- Tasmania Police
- Department of State Growth
- Traffic management providers
- Metro Tasmania
- Local residents
The position of Residents’ Representative is currently vacant, and City of Clarence is seeking expressions of interest from local residents to fill this role for a three-year term.
About the role
The Residents’ Representative provides a local community perspective on transport planning and event operations associated with Bellerive Oval.
