If you find dumped rubbish on public land, such as a road reserve, park, beach or other public area, you can report it to us.
To help us investigate and arrange clean-up, please provide:
- The location of the dumped rubbish
- A description of the items
- Photos, if available
Dumped rubbish on private land
If rubbish has been dumped on private property, the property owner is generally responsible for its removal.
If you have evidence that may identify the person responsible, such as documents, photos or security camera footage, please include this when making your report.
Littering from a car or boat
Littering from a vehicle or vessel is investigated by the EPA.
Information that can assist includes:
- Vehicle registration number
- Location of the incident
- Description of the vehicle
- Photos or videos, if available
