Bring your civil design expertise to a collaborative team shaping the future of community infrastructure. This senior role combines technical design work with mentoring and supporting a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and document a variety of civil projects – roads, drainage, pathways, car parks and more
  • Ensure designs are cost-effective, practical, and meet all relevant standards
  • Support drafting standards, peer reviews, and internal quality processes
  • Assist with surveys, set out, and preparation of specs and tender documents
  • Liaise with contractors and council teams to support project delivery
  • Ensure designs align with budget, scope, and compliance expectations
  • Mentor and coach civil design team members, contributing to their growth
  • Provide technical guidance and promote team collaboration and success

About you

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • 5–7 years’ experience in civil design, with strong Civil 3D and Civil Site Design or similar software skills
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication abilities
  • Proven experience delivering a range of infrastructure projects
  • Valid driver’s licence and white card

What we offer you

  • Base salary between $102,093.90 and $117,460.62 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation
  • Permanent and full-time
  • Monthly rostered day off
