Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the City Planning Group, ensuring timely, accurate outcomes.
- Coordinate and process statutory planning applications within council’s corporate systems.
- Issue correspondence, notifications and permits, and manage associated fees, invoices and statutory timeframes.
- Deliver accurate, customer-focused general planning information to internal and external customers.
- Coordinate all statutory notification requirements, including advertising, on-site notices and referral communications.
- Gather and prepare information to support responses to statutory authority requests.
- Process purchase orders, requisitions, refunds and invoices in line with council policies and procedures.
- Contribute to reviewing and updating planning administration policies, procedures and work instructions.
About you
- Strong administrative capability with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with professionalism when handling sensitive matters.
- Resilient, adaptable and able to work through complex processes collaboratively.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Confident digital literacy, including working with corporate systems and technology to support workflow.
What we offer you
- Base salary between $76,948.44 and $88,899.69 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 13% superannuation
- Permanent, full-time
- Monthly rostered day off.
