Key responsibilities
- Deliver an engaging, child-led program aligned with the National Quality Framework
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
- Support children’s development through intentional teaching and play-based learning
- Contribute to reflective practices and the service’s Quality Improvement Plan
- Work collaboratively with educators, the Educational Leader and Director
- Maintain safe, inclusive and hygienic environments
- Provide accurate documentation and responsive communication
About you
- ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- 2+ years’ experience in a long day care setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Confident using digital tools for planning and documentation
- Must hold a National Police Check and Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (non-negotiable and candidate’s responsibility)
What we offer you
- Base salary between $74,181.76 and $76,513.67 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation
- Permanent/full-time
