Contribute to a connected, resilient and inclusive community through the administration and delivery of council’s on-demand and bi-annual grant programs.
This part-time, permanent role offers the chance to lead and grow council’s community grants program – directly impacting local groups, artists and services – while working collaboratively across teams and with the broader community to achieve council’s grant program aims.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver council’s end-to-end community grants program
- Lead policy and guideline reviews to improve equity, access and transparency
- Manage grant assessment processes and support decision-making panels
- Build strong relationships with applicants, stakeholders and internal teams
- Promote the grant program through community info sessions and marketing
- Support inclusive, place-based approaches to community development
- Represent Council at community and interagency meetings
About you
- Experienced in grant management, community development or related government work
- Skilled in developing and evaluating inclusive grant processes and policy
- Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement abilities
- Confident working independently and collaboratively across teams
- Proficient with digital tools and systems (e.g. SmartyGrants, TechnologyOne or similar) (Desirable)
What we offer you
- Base salary between $92,004.56 and $102,268.53 pro-rata (dependent on skills and experience) + 13% superannuation
- Permanent, part-time (two days per week)
