Mental Health Week is a national campaign held each October to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing. It incorporates World Mental Health Day (10 October), with the goal of engaging communities in conversations that reduce stigma, build connection, and support positive mental health.

In 2025, we’re embracing the theme: ‘Appreciate the little things’.

Sharing a smile with a stranger. Watching a breathtaking sunset. Listening to birds in the trees. The little things may not make headlines – but they can make your day.

🌿 Walk with us

For the second year in a row join us for a peaceful 2.8km return walk along Lindisfarne’s stunning coastal foreshore trail. Starting and ending at Simmons Park, this low-to-medium intensity walk invites you to slow down, connect with community, and reflect on the small moments that bring joy.

Wear orange, which is the official colour of Mental Health Week, to show your support.

🎉 Stay for the celebration

After the walk, enjoy a relaxing hour of live music, free coffee, a community BBQ, and plenty of feel-good activities.

This event is proudly supported by Lifeline Tasmania, the Mental Health Council of Tasmania, and a range of community partners working together to promote wellbeing and reduce suicide in Clarence.
