What kinds of ideas are brought to life with our grants?
Innovative ideas that make a positive difference across our city, that support wellbeing and inclusion.
This includes projects that help people participate, feel connected, included, and supported.
Our Community Grants can assist groups or individuals who are organising community activities, events, projects, or programs that assist social connection.
Our Environment and Biodiversity Grants help projects that connect people with nature, protect local environments, or support biodiversity.
Our Cultural and Creative Grants can help community organisations, artists, and other creatives with their artistic endeavours and creative projects, workshops, performances, or exhibitions.

Environment and Biodiversity grants recipient TACPLACI received a grant to install new signage at the Clarence Plains Rivulet Saltmarsh in Rokeby.
The sign explains how engineered settling ponds filter stormwater from nearby residential areas before entering the saltmarsh, allowing the saltmarsh to filter pollutants from our waterways, protect the coastline, and provide healthy habitat for wildlife.
It’s a great example of how our grants are helping our community care for the environment in their local areas.

There are two rounds each year where applicants can up apply for grants of up to $10,000. This latest round is now open until 30 September, 2026.
