We now have a Resource Recovery HUB (Recycle Wall).

The Recycle Wall is a convenient drop-off point for everyday household items that can’t go in your kerbside recycling bins (yellow lid).

Got a handful of old pens? A small bag full of cables and cords? A few pairs of old glasses lying around?

Take them to our Recycle Wall, which is located in the entrance foyer at Council Chambers, 38 Bligh Street, Rosny Park.

The wall makes it easier for people to recycle items that still have value, giving them a second life through specialist recycling programs.

It keeps waste out of landfill, recovers valuable and useful materials that would otherwise be thrown away, and moves us towards a more circular economy.

It’s helping us meet our sustainable goals.

The following items can be dropped off at our Recycle Wall

  • X-rays
  • Glasses and eyewear
  • Toys
  • CDs and DVDs
  • Coffee capsules
  • Cables and cords
  • Pens and markers
  • Blister packs

Please note: the Recycle Wall is only for small household amounts. Think a handful, a few items, or a small bag. Anything left on the floor or dropped off outside opening hours may not be recycled.

Examples of what’s recovered from these items

  • X-rays: Silver and plastic (for recycled silver)
  • CDs and DVDS: Aluminium and plastic
  • Pens and markers: Plastic
