We’re pleased to announce the newly endorsed Glebe Hill Bushland Reserve Management Plan, and accompanying Executive Summary, is now available on our website.

The updated management plan was formally endorsed by Council at the 7 July 2025 council meeting and replaces the previous 2014 version. The new plan sets a clear and strategic vision for the ongoing protection, management, and enhancement of this valuable natural reserve.

Located in the heart of our city, Glebe Hill Bushland Reserve is an important area for biodiversity conservation, passive recreation, and community connection to nature. The new plan outlines actions to manage vegetation, protect threatened species, improve access and infrastructure, and support community engagement over the coming years.

What’s new:

  • A strong focus on preserving native flora and fauna
  • Updated priorities for track management and fire mitigation
  • Enhanced opportunities for community involvement and education
  • Integration of current environmental data and local input
  • Changes to domestic animal management in the reserve
