Risdon Brook Park is a popular recreational area and drinking water reservoir.

There is a wide gravel service road around hte dam that is mostly flat except for two hills and a few undulations around the eastern bay and northern end of the reservoir.

Warning: Wheelchair users and novice bicycle riders should take care on the hill around the eastern bay as it is moderately graded and hte gravel can be slippery when going downhill. Sections of the track are not Disability Discrimination Act compliant. No dogs are allowed.
