Motorists and residents are advised that road closures and traffic management arrangements will be in place around Bellerive Oval (Ninja Stadium) and Bellerive Beach on Sunday 14 June 2026 for the AFL match between Richmond and Brisbane Lions
The match is scheduled to commence at 1pm, with large crowds expected in the area.
Road closures
The following roads will be closed to general traffic from 10am on Sunday 14 June:
- Park Street – between Scott Street and Derwent Street
- Church Street – between Scott Street and Beach Street
- Derwent Street – between Douglas Street and the entrance to the Bellerive Beach car park
- Alma Street – between Cambridge Road and Kangaroo Bay
Residents within these streets will continue to have access, along with disability parking permit holders and authorised service vehicles.
Public transport and parking
Patrons are encouraged to use public transport where possible.
Richmond Football Club is providing a free ferry service for the game departing Brooke Street Pier to Bellerive Pier before the match, departing at 11.30am, 12.00pm, 12.30pm and 1.00pm. Three return services will operate after the game.
Please note that free event parking will not be available at South Street Reserve due to an existing booking. Alternative free parking is available at Kangaroo Bay and Rosny College.
Tasmania Police and City of Clarence Rangers will monitor parking throughout the day. Motorists are reminded to comply with all parking restrictions and temporary traffic controls.
