What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver an engaging, child-led program aligned with the National Quality Framework
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
  • Support children’s development through intentional teaching and play-based learning
  • Contribute to reflective practices and the service’s Quality Improvement Plan
  • Work collaboratively with educators, the Educational Leader and Director
  • Maintain safe, inclusive and hygienic environments
  • Provide accurate documentation and responsive communication

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (essential)
  • 2+ years’ experience in a long day care setting (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confident using digital tools for planning and documentation
  • Must hold a National Police Check (dated within 6 months) and Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (non-negotiable and candidate’s responsibility)
