Join Palliative Care Tasmania’s Kate Brennan for Living with Loss – a gentle, conversational community session exploring how we understand grief and loss, and how we can better support one another through it.

Grief is something we will all experience, in many different forms. While it can feel isolating, it’s not something we’re meant to navigate alone. This session creates a safe, supportive space to reflect on personal experiences of loss and build confidence in responding to grief with compassion and care.

Facilitated by an experienced practitioner passionate about holding space for difficult conversations, this session offers practical insights and shared learning in a respectful, welcoming environment.

This session will cover:

  • Bust common myths about grief
  • Reflect on the deeply personal and complex nature of grief
  • Explore losses beyond death-related experiences
  • Share practical ways to recognise and tend to grief
  • Learn supportive strategies to help ourselves and others through loss

You’ll leave with greater understanding, practical tools, and renewed confidence to respond to grief, in yourself and in others, with clarity, empathy, and kindness.

Please note, meals and drinks can be purchased from the venue.
