Discover the art of haiga – a unique blend of poetry and imagery.
In this creative workshop, you’ll learn how to search the Tasmania Archives for historic digital images and use Canva to create your own haiga artwork. Guided by the image you choose, you’ll then write a haiku poem and combine the two into a beautiful, personalised piece.
No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.
This workshop is presented in collaboration with Rosny Library, bringing together creativity, history and poetry in a fun and engaging session as part of the Our Shared Space program.
Bookings are essential as places are limited.
Recommended for ages 12 and over. Families are welcome to attend together, making it a wonderful opportunity to create across generations.
