Business Eastern Shore holds its Business After 5 events to create an opportunity to network, learn, and engage with fellow professionals in the community.

April’s Business After 5 event features two guest speakers:

City of Clarence Manager, Environment, Facilities and Recreation Alli Coombe speaking about the Greater Hobart Sport Infrastructure Strategy.

Accru Hobart’s Courtney Telega speaking about EOFY Readiness and maximising outcomes in 2026.

Alli will be speaking about City of Clarence’s plan to develop a regional community sports hub at Clarence Plains – the Bayview Secondary College Sports Precinct.

This plan connects to the Greater Hobart Sport Infrastructure Strategy, which is a collaboration between the six Greater Hobart councils that prioritises a regional, coordinated approach to sporting facility investment.

Sporting facilities in Clarence, and across Greater Hobart, are at capacity and struggling to keep up with an explosion in demand, particularly among women, girls, and junior participants.

Courtney is passionate about providing financial peace of mind to her clients and she loves working with business owners who are passionate about their product and business too.

She seeks to discover her clients’ true long-term aspirations – both business and personal – then help to develop long-term strategies, and manageable, short-term goals and actions to achieve their ambitions.

Having started at Accru in 2007, Courtney has developed broad tax and accounting knowledge. One of her core strengths is providing end-to-end tax and accounting support to small-to-medium sized businesses with a high focus on driving profitability and value.

In recent years, Courtney has specialised in valuing businesses, both local and interstate. She has been recognized by the ICAA as a Business Valuation Specialist, and together with Tim Lane, has built strong valuations capabilities for the financial services sector.
