Council is currently still working through the completion process of the Bellerive Public Pier with the contractor.
While the pier may look finished, there are still some final crucial underwater works that need to be done, which requires specialist diving contractors.
The pier will be a long-term asset (50+ years) for the City of Clarence, so it is essential it is done right – even if that takes longer than originally anticipated.
Council is looking forward to opening the pier as soon as possible.
