The tender was awarded to Specialised Landscaping Services. It includes construction of the parkland, leisure and play spaces at Kangaroo Bay, supply and installation of play equipment, landscaping, electrical and stormwater infrastructure, and irrigation systems throughout the area.
The parklands, located on the waterfront adjacent to the new Kangaroo Bay Drive, will feature play equipment for all ages, including water play elements, a basketball hoop and table tennis table.
“This is another exciting stage in the redevelopment of Kangaroo Bay into a business, residential and leisure precinct,” Mayor of Clarence, Alderman Doug Chipman said.
“The parklands will provide plenty of green space, play equipment and amenities for the whole community to enjoy.”
