We will be undertaking maintenance works on a short section of our multi-user Clarence Foreshore Trail near Silwood Avenue commencing Wednesday 10 April 2019.
This part of the trail is relatively steep and is eroding causing safety concerns for users. The trail will be upgraded with a sandstone concrete surface to complement the existing gravel track.
The works will take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting. During this time, this section of the trail will be closed to all traffic. A detour will be put in place for public access.
A detour route is available outside school hours only through Clarence High School. Please note that during school hours (8.30am – 3.30pm), detour is only available via Clarence St. Please be respectful when accessing the school. Do not leave rubbish or animal droppings behind.
