Our waste contractor is working hard to catch up on any delayed waste collections (see prior notices for details).
If it has not been emptied, please leave it out for collection.
Areas that usually have their general waste and recycling picked up today (Friday) will have their waste collection prioritised, however some of these areas will have waste and recycling picked up on Saturday.
Green Waste bins that have still not been collected in the following areas will be collected on or by Saturday.
– Mornington (between South Arm Hwy and Pass Road)
– Tranmere
– Cambridge
– Seven Mile Beach
Due to our waste collection contractor Veolia experiencing COVID-19 related staff shortages, there are some disruptions to the regular waste collections across the municipality.
The collection of general waste and recycling will be prioritised over the collection of green waste.
This may result in green waste bins being collected later in the day than usual or on the following day.
We ask that the community be patient as Veolia do their best to ensure everyone’s waste is collected as promptly as possible.
