Dogs Day Out and Poochibald Art Prize

The 2015 Dogs Day Out is on again and includes an action packed day of activities for dogs and dog lovers.

The event heralds the return of the Poochibald Art Prize featuring paintings and drawings by artistic dog enthusiasts for dog loving art enthusiasts.

With open and junior categories on display in the Schoolhouse Gallery, winners will be announced at the annual Dogs Day Out to be held on Sunday 4 October 2015 from 11am - 3pm.

Dogs Day Out will include activities for dogs including costume, look-alike and best trick contests, an agility challenge and treats a plenty; there’s loads to keep them entertained.

There will be music by the Scary Family Band, a sausage sizzle cooked by the RSPCA, dog yoga and a range of services on offer to peruse through.

Scott Hunt our resident dog trainer and author will be hosting the show and discussing various elements of dog psychology as well as assisting with the judging.

Got something you want our local vets to have a look at? No worries. Who will win the scruffiest dog or the best dressed contest? Only Dogs Day will tell.
