Night works on the Tasman Highway, Rosny and Cambridge – detours required.
Roads Tas will be resurfacing sections of the Tasman Highway on Hobart’s eastern shore this November.
Works at the following locations will require a full closure of the road, with detours in place:
Montagu Bay interchange – the on and off ramps from the Tasman Highway to the East Derwent Highway will be closed for traffic travelling from Rosny towards Lindisfarne and from Lindisfarne towards Hobart, between 7:30 pm and 5:30 am each night, Tuesday 13 – Monday 19 November.
The Tasman Highway exit to Cambridge Road will be closed to traffic travelling from Hobart towards the airport, 6:30 pm – 6:30 am. Thursday 22 – Saturday 24 November. There will be no closure travelling towards Hobart.
This essential maintenance work helps ensure these busy highways continue to safely carry the large number of vehicles using them each day.
