Living Well, Clarence’s annual event to promote good health and wellbeing across all ages and abilities, will be held this Saturday 5 November at Rosny LINC.

The expo gives people an opportunity to find out about what’s available in their community as well as learn something new which could open up a range of new possibilities.

The expo will feature free hearing checks, reflexology, hand and face massages, craft demonstrations, and entertainment from Clarence City Children’s Choir and Swinging Ukuleles. There will also be information and community stalls, giveways and a free barbecue. Jane Longhurst will be back to MC the event.

Mayor of Clarence, Alderman Doug Chipman said the expo is an opportunity for residents to find out about the many services available in and around Clarence.

“Living Well in Clarence is about giving residents access to resources we have in Clarence, from physical and mental health, food and nutrition, exercise, relaxation and lifestyle,” Mayor Chipman said.

“We actively promote a healthy lifestyle in Clarence through the many services, activities and facilities we provide for our residents. By working with other organisations such as Tasmanian Health Organisation, the four neighbourhood centres and Rosny LINC to hold this event, we are creating important connections to more effectively promote health and wellbeing in our community.”

“The expo highlights myriad ways we can pursue leading healthy and happy lives,” Mayor Chipman said.

Living Well in Clarence will be held at Rosny LINC on Saturday 5 November from 9.30am to 12.30pm. More information on Living Well in Clarence can be found at www.liveclarence.com.au.
