Officially opened by the Mayor, the Kangaroo Bay Rivulet Track links Gordons Hill Road and Fairway Rise with historic Rosny Farm and Charles Hand Park via Kangaroo Bay Rivulet.

“The new track provides safe access for residents and I would like to congratulate the Council’s Tracks and Trails Committee, along with Council staff and contractors who help with planning and construction,” Alderman Doug Chipman, Mayor of Clarence said.

The track was a priority identified in Council’s Tracks and Trails Action Plan and was constructed in response to initial requests from the Senior Action Group Eastern Shore and Rosny College, to develop a safe, off-road walking and cycling route for residents.

“The Kangaroo Bay Rivulet Track is a pleasant and enjoyable walk from Gordons Hill Road, past the Rosny Park Public Golf Course and through to the southern end of Eastlands and Rosny Farm,” said Alderman Richard James, Chairperson of the Council’s Tracks and Trails Committee.

“This is just one of the many projects identified in Council’s Tracks and Trails Action Plan as a priority and I hope that members of the public enjoy the new track.”
