Have a whale of a time at the Seafarers’ Festival

Grab your striped shirt and bandanna and get ready for the 2018 Seafarers’ Festival, held this Sunday 28 October at the Bellerive Boardwalk from 10:30am to 4:00pm.

The annual Seafarers’ Festival is a free event packed with fun activities on both land and sea for the whole family to enjoy.

Entertainment will take to the high seas with a special performance from the Taiko Drummers aboard The Windeward Bound, a Westpac Rescue helicopter demonstration, and tours to get even the most stubborn land-lubbers out on the water on the Governor’s launch – the ML Egeria and the historic Admiral.

Back on dry land, bands including Coda Chroma, The Tassie Devils, Moonlight Aviators, and a special performance of ‘Scallywags’ from ExitLeft will be providing musical entertainment, while mermaids, circus performers, contemporary dancers and more rove around the event.

Enter the Rubber Ducky Photo Hunt and check out the many stalls with loads of information and things to do for all ages. There will also be fine food and wine to taste.
