The City of Clarence is thrilled to host the official welcome function for Targa Tasmania’s long-awaited return, more than a decade since the rally last departed Hobart.
Join us at Bellerive Quay on Saturday 15 November from 5–7pm for Targafest Bellerive Quay – a free community event showcasing around 60 of this year’s rally competitors on display along the Quay and Cambridge Road.
This exciting evening promises a vibrant atmosphere, with stunning cars, local hospitality, and the perfect waterfront backdrop. Visitors can enjoy food and drinks from Bellerive’s cafes, restaurants, and bars while soaking up the buzz of Tasmania’s most iconic motorsport event.
With thousands expected to attend, Targafest Bellerive Quay is set to be an unmissable celebration for motorsport fans and the wider community alike.
The parking hotline will be available during the event to report any parking issues.

Do I need to register?
No registration or tickets are required. This is a free public outdoor event with multiple entry points.
Where can I park?
Public parking will be available at Kangaroo Bay Drive. Event signage will direct visitors to parking areas to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
City of Clarence Parking Hotline 6217 9589 will be available for assistance between 4PM to 8PM. We also encourage participants to explore public transport options.
Where will the main activity be?
The main activities (car display and music) will take place around Bellerive waterfront and along Cambridge Road. See map below!

What roads will be closed and when?
Cambridge Road, between Clarence Street and Queen Street, will have restricted access from 1pm–3pm while the traffic management team prepares the event area.
From 3pm, Cambridge Road will be fully closed to public vehicles. Only authorised Targa vehicles will be permitted through the closure.
The road is expected to reopen by approximately 8pm, depending on how long it takes the team to safely complete pack-down.
During the closure period, temporary traffic management measures will be in place, and a detour will be available via Scott Street, Bellerive.
Please follow all traffic signage and directions from traffic control officers to ensure the safety of event workers and the community.

Will there be live music?
From 5–7pm on the Bellerive Boardwalk, enjoy live performances from Lauren O’Keefe, followed by the lively Southside Steppers who will entertain crowds along Cambridge Road, throughout the event area and on stage.
