Council Offices
The Council Offices will close at 5.15pm on Thursday, 29 March. Payments to cashiers will be accepted until 5.00pm. The Offices will re-open at normal hours on Wednesday, 4 April.
Mornington Depot
The Mornington Depot will close at 4.00pm on Thursday, 29 March and will re-open at 7.30 am on Wednesday, 4 April.
After Hours Services
For all emergency services after hours including roads and stormwater, please ring 6217 9700.
Dog and Animal Control
For urgent matters outside normal office hours please ring the after hours number –6217 9700.
Garbage Collection
Normal collection of garbage, recyclables and greenwaste will take place over the Easter period, including Good Friday.
Collections will commence in all areas from 6.00am so residents are reminded that bins must be placed on the roadside before 6.00am.
Mornington Waste Transfer Station
The Mornington Waste Transfer Station and Second Chance Re-use Shop will be closed on Good Friday (30 March). The Waste Transfer Station will be open from 8.30am until 4.00pm on the following days:
- Saturday, 31 March;
- Sunday, 1 April; and
- Monday, 2 April.
Other days will be as per normal operating hours (7.30am to 5.00pm weekdays, 8.30am to 4.00pm weekends and public holidays).
Rosny Child Care Centre
The Centre will close at 5.30pm on Thursday, 29 March and re-open at 7.30am on Wednesday, 4 April.
Children’s Services – Alma Street
(Family Day Care, Outside School Hours Care and Holiday Care)
The Children’s Services office will close at 5.00pm on Thursday, 29 March and will re‑open at normal time on Wednesday, 4 April.
The After School Care service will operate from Wednesday 4 April
Clarence Community Volunteer Service
The Volunteer Service will close at 2.30 pm on Thursday, 29 March and will re-open at 9.00 am on Wednesday, 4 April.
Schoolhouse Gallery and Rosny Farm
The Complex will be closed over the Easter period 30 March – 3 April inclusive and will resume normal operating hours on Wednesday, 4 April, which are Wednesday to Sunday 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Youth Services
The Youth Services office will close at 5.00pm pm on Thursday, 29 March and will reopen on Wednesday, 4 April at 9.00am.
